TNO conducts research, the results of which may be valuable for ThermoGIS. It is not always possible to directly add these results to ThermoGIS.
In WarmingUP, for example, research has been done into the shallow aquifers of the Brussels Sand and the Breda Formation. The former was already included in ThermoGIS, the latter not yet. The results of the research into the geothermal potential of the Breda Formation are described here.
Other research that may lead to the improvement or expansion of ThermoGIS in the future focused on heat pumps and ATES. Descriptions and results of this research will be added here to ThermoGIS.nl soon.
